Mar 2 – This year I finally got the hang of keeping rosemary alive over winter.  I’ve killed off the rosemary every winter before this and I finally figured out it was overwatering (it has to come in for the winter here or it will die anyway).  This rosemary is happy and beginning to flower.  I have it in a western window (the only one I can really put a plant in) and water it once a week, give or take.  It is flourishing and I’m so happy I won’t have to start over with a tiny plant this year.  This one is ready to provide for my cooking without me worrying about cutting it back too far.  I hope to grow it into a rosemary bush!
