Mar 8 – I bought myself a lovely orange scone from Panera (and am in search of a recipe now!) and so decided tea was required.  Licorice-mint tea – a full pot – some local honey and soy cream, all served up on a lovely bamboo serving tray/cutting board that was a wedding present.  I have a fondness for Asian tea accoutrements.  Both the licorice and the wintermint teas I used have orange overtones to them which highlighted the delightful orangeness of the scone.  It was such a lovely way to begin the day.  I hadn’t done this in far too long and can’t figure out why.  It used to be a weekend ritual.  Time to bring it back, I believe.
