Aug 11 – I have a new skill.  I can make cheese!  This is what curds and whey look like with goat-milk-based cheese.  This was my first try at a basic farm cheese, in which you add apple cider vinegar to milk.  I have since made mozzarella and a lovely chevre that was flavored with garlic and sea salt and some that was orange/cranberry/pecan.

I had to purchase a share in a goat farm to legally purchase the raw milk.  Eventually we will probably buy a couple goats of our own…
