Aug 30 – I do not know how the linaria seeds got to the flower bed.  Two summers ago I grew some in a pot up at the house.  These appeared voluntarily in the flower bed in many different colors.  Linaria (also known as toadflax) has these delicate, tiny snapdragon-like flowers.  It grows wild in a yellow version.  A friend sent me seeds after I complained of not being able to find them.  I saved seeds two summers ago, but I did not plant them.  So these were a pleasant surprise.
