Dec 2 – David got home today.  Before he came home, he went by a sawmill to pick up firewood for us.  These are the end cuts and round parts of trees that  get cut off to make the square blocks lumber comes from.  It’s all dry and ready to burn, once it gets cut to size.  This is three cords (full cords, not face cords) of seasoned lumber and we got it for $75!  I paid nearly that much for a face cord last year of “seasoned” lumber.  It’s very nice to have a truck in the family sometimes.  Of course, now we have to unload this…
