Dec 4 – Also with the candles, I wanted something that would glow.  I kept looking then I remembered I already had this lovely star!  I bought it in California quite some time ago and it’s just been waiting to be used.  Since it’s hanging so close to the ceiling (the ceiling here angles down so it’s just over 6 feet tall) I was concerned about using a live, hot flame.  To my rescue came the flickering fake candle.  It looks very good (David couldn’t tell it was fake and warned me about candles) and I don’t have to worry now.  It adds a nice glow.  The batteries last quite a long time.
